LIGHTING SALES ENGINEER

LDPI, Inc., an industry leader in the manufacture of specialty industrial lighting products, is seeking an inside Lighting Sales Engineer. Major responsibilities include providing quotations and technical assistance and support to OEMs, manufacturer representatives, electrical distributors, paint distributors and other callers on various lighting products.

Position requirements are:

• Ability to assess customer needs and provide appropriate solutions while maintaining customer account histories through Customer Relationship Management software.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated team player.
• Must be computer literate, have above average keyboarding skills, and be familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word software.

This position calls for a minimum of a 2-year Associate Degree in Marketing The ideal applicant would also have an electrical or lighting background, previous experience with industrial sales and a desire to exceed departmental expectations. This inside sales position offers the ideal candidate a challenging position with future growth opportunities.

This full-time position offers a competitive compensation plan and a complete benefits package including profit sharing, 401k, health, life and dental insurance programs, vacation and personal/sick time accruals, and tuition reimbursement.
