LDPI Lighting manufactures new 3 lamp explosion proof fixture; adds emergency backup ballast
Eau Claire, WI – LDPI Lighting continues to expand their 380 Series linear fluorescent explosion proof fixture line by introducing a new 3 lamp 4 ft. fixture with standard or high output T12, T8 or T5 lamps to complement their existing 4 lamp 4 ft. and 2 lamp 2 or 4 ft. XPs.
Also being introduced is an optional maintenance-free emergency backup ballast for the 4 ft. 2 lamp fixture which automatically switches to emergency mode to provide safe egress lighting for 90 minutes, then returns to normal operation plus charging when AC power is restored.
LDPI-manufactured XPs carry UL and ULC (Canada) listings, and have 1/2” NPT hubs located at 0°, 45° and 90°, allowing for easy straight-in wiring whether wall, ceiling or drop mounted. These low profile cast aluminum fixtures are considerably lighter-weight, and are available with optional stainless steel guards and/or polycarbonate shields, making them ideal for petro-chemical, marine/shipboard, paint finishing, sewage treatment plants, and other Class I, Div. 1 hazardous locations.
