ASSEMBLER

LDPI, Inc. (www.ldpi-inc.com), an ever-growing Eau Claire, WI, manufacturer of specialized LED lighting fixtures and related products for Industrial and Hazardous location applications, has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for ASSEMBLERS!  As a member of the ASSEMBLY TEAM, you will transform parts and components into assemblies by joining, fastening, and adjusting while adhering to quality and drawing requirements.  If you are a self-driven, highly motivated individual looking to join a great team, then look no further!  We offer GREAT PAY!  EXCELLENT BENEFITS!  ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES!  AND, MUCH MORE!    

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES as an ASSEMBLER:

  • Proficient at assembling multiple assemblies, sub-assemblies or components with defined procedures of nominal lot sizes that meet both quality and product efficiency standards
  • Proficient at assembling, inspecting, packaging and testing of finished products
  • Able to read and interpret blue prints and manufacturing drawings/instructions to assemble parts or products
  • Able to produce quality parts within in the prescribed time
  • Accurately records labor and work order information
  • Keep work area neat and organized
  • Able to measure and inspect to quality requirements
  • Able to use various hand and power tools as assigned
  • Able to read tape measures, calipers and other measuring devices as assigned.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, jibs, and cranes safely
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Needed?

  • High School diploma/GED, or 3 months related experience and/or training
  • Previous training or experience within a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to read and interpret documents

POWDER COATING TECHNICIAN

 
LDPI, Inc. (www.ldpi-inc.com), an ever-growing Eau Claire, WI, manufacturer of specialized LED lighting fixtures and related products for Industrial and Hazardous location applications, has an IMMEDIATE OPENING for a POWDER COATING TECHNICIAN to support operations of its conveyorized powder coating system consisting of a six-stage wash system, dry off and bake ovens, and spray booth with automatic and manual guns with reclaim capabilities.  We offer GREAT PAY!  EXCELLENT BENEFITS!  ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES!  AND, MUCH MORE!   

What responsibilities will you have as a POWDER COATING TECHNICIAN?  

  • Prepare, visually inspect, and clean parts for coating prior to the start of the painting process
  • Work with team to ensure that parts have been properly masked, taped, and plugged prior to the process
  • Load/Unload parts from track system
  • Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers and booth collection systems
  • Ensure proper line speed
  • Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects
  • Cure parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations
  • Check product for flaws, bubbles or imperfections
  • Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment
  • Proper cleaning and maintenance of booth and equipment
  • Analysis and adjustment of wash system chemicals
  • Maintain proper inventory of paint and chemicals

Education and/or Experience Needed?

  • High School diploma / GED
  • Previous powder coating experience is desired but not required
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
  • Able to read blueprints or engineering drawings
